Privacy Notice on the Processing of Candidate Personal Data

This notice has been prepared under Article 10 of the KVKK to inform candidates applying for attorney, trainee attorney or other positions about the processing of their personal data by Arslan ve Kadıoğlu Kır Avukatlık Ortaklığı (“A&K Partners”).

In summary

• Data processed: identity and contact details, CV, education and academic background, professional experience, certificates, language skills, references where shared, and bar registration details for attorney candidates.
• Purposes: receiving and assessing applications, determining suitability for the relevant position, conducting recruitment and interview processes, reference checks where applicable, and human resources administration.
• Legal grounds: the conditions set out in Article 5 of the KVKK; explicit consent is sought where no other condition applies.
• Retention: where an application is unsuccessful, data are kept for a necessary and reasonable period taking account of legal obligations and potential proceedings, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
• Your rights: the rights listed in Article 11 of the KVKK.

Candidates are advised not to share special categories of personal data that are not necessary for the recruitment process.
